Lead HR Generalist – Dominican Republic Manufacturing

About the role

Rockwell Automation seeks a Lead HR Generalist for its Dominican Republic manufacturing campus. The role sits on the plant leadership team and provides strategic HR input, daily guidance, and coaching to drive employee engagement, inclusion, and organizational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the LATAM HR Business Partner, Plant Manager and local HR team to define short‑ and long‑term talent and organizational needs.
• Deliver HR solutions in employee engagement, change management, organizational design, job leveling and compensation.
• Provide leadership coaching, counseling and consultative support to managers and employees.
• Ensure compliance with Dominican Republic labor regulations and support collective bargaining negotiations.
• Collaborate with global HR COEs, HRIS and HR Enablement to deliver full HR value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in psychology, business administration, industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• 5 years experience in compensation, benefits, performance management, employee development, organizational development, change management and employee relations.
• Full bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) and deep knowledge of Dominican Republic labor law.
• Experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements with unions.
