HR Business Partner – Pueblo Viejo

About the role

The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic ally to business leaders at the Pueblo Viejo operation, providing comprehensive people‑management advice and solutions. Reporting to the Human Resources team, the role supports the implementation of HR strategy, promotes a healthy work environment, and drives cultural transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers on HR matters, identifying needs and delivering effective people solutions.
• Collaborate on defining and executing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with Dominican labor legislation.
• Implement and update HR policies and practices.
• Lead organizational change projects, including cultural transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Law or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a similar partner role.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Dominican labor laws; a diploma in Labor Law is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid command of Microsoft Office suite.
