Head of Procurement - Ultra-Luxury Hospitality

About the role

Utopia, an ultra-luxury hospitality and lifestyle brand that designs and builds its own properties, is looking for a strategic, hands-on Head of Procurement to lead its global procurement and supply chain function. The role covers a portfolio of boutique hospitality assets, eco-resorts and ultra-luxury residential projects worldwide, with ultimate accountability for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and oversee global procurement strategy across FF&E, OS&E, construction materials and packages, and services and subcontracts, and build a global network of certified manufacturers and master suppliers.
• Run competitive tendering, negotiate contracts and MSAs/POs, and drive value engineering with Design and Engineering.
• Manage international multimodal supply chains, customs clearance, tariff classification, import/export compliance and contingency shipping plans.
• Coordinate staging areas, site consolidation, White-Glove installation and punch-list closeout with Project and Site Managers.
• Lead and grow the procurement team, set standards, SOPs and vendor scorecards, and optimise procurement software, ERP workflows and dashboards (Power BI / Looker Studio).
• Produce executive reports on procurement status, spend, lead times and vendor risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field; Master's or professional certification (MCIPS/CIPS, CPSM, PMP) preferred.
• 12+ years of procurement and supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership of complex capital projects.
• Track record in luxury hospitality and high-end real estate, with international sourcing experience in Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and/or Africa.
• Fluent written and spoken English is strictly required; professional Spanish or Portuguese is strongly preferred.
