Sales Manager - Group, Corporate and Leisure

About the role

The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site position at Donoma Las Terrenas Resort & Villas, Autograph Collection, in Las Terrenas. The role generates and closes group, corporate and leisure sales, manages key accounts and builds long-term relationships with travel partners, corporate clients and event planners.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new business, respond to inquiries and prepare proposals and contracts
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with operations and revenue management to ensure accurate rates, availability and seamless service
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, and develop and execute sales strategies and promotions
• Maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, attend industry events and trade shows when needed, and represent the resort professionally

Required profile

• Strong experience in hospitality or resort sales management, including prospecting, account management and closing group and corporate business
• Previous experience in luxury hotels or branded resorts is highly beneficial; familiarity with Marriott or Autograph Collection standards is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Fluency in English; Spanish or other languages are a plus
