About the role

Santo Domingo Motors is seeking a strategic Risk and Insurance Management Manager to lead the design, implementation and administration of the corporate risk and insurance strategy. The role will identify exposure that could affect business objectives and develop effective prevention, mitigation and risk transfer mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an integrated corporate risk and insurance program aligned with the company’s strategy.
• Lead identification, evaluation and monitoring of financial, strategic and operational risks, promoting mitigation actions and stronger controls.
• Develop and keep updated the corporate risk map, coordinating input from all business areas.
• Define and manage insurance coverages required to protect assets, operations and corporate liabilities.
• Oversee policy procurement, renewal, modification and cancellation, balancing cost, coverage and exposure.
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with insurers, brokers, adjusters and specialized providers.
• Lead claims management, ensuring proper documentation, follow‑up and timely recovery of indemnities.
• Monitor risk, loss and insurance program performance indicators, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements related to risk and insurance, supporting internal and external audits.
• Prepare and present executive reports on risk exposure, insurance program performance and mitigation recommendations.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Law or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate risk management, insurance, internal control, compliance or related financial areas.
