Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist – Finance & Compliance

About the role

Join as a Finance & Compliance Specialist (Generalist) and support the food and consumer goods industry through cash application, collections, ERP reconciliations, inventory transactions, and reporting. You will work onsite in the Dominican Republic, handling high‑volume financial transactions and ensuring accuracy across accounts payable and receivable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Post customer payments received via ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards, and reconcile daily cash receipts with bank deposits.
• Review accounts receivable aging reports, conduct collection activities, and coordinate with distributors to resolve payment delays.
• Enter journal entries for adjustments, inventory transfers, and RMAs, and reconcile subledger balances with the general ledger.
• Prepare reports on cash application, collections performance, and accounts receivable aging; assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities.

Required profile

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, and collections.
• Experience in the food, CPG, manufacturing, or distribution industry is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required.

Required skills

• SAGE ERP (or similar ERP systems).
• InSequel ERP (advantageous).
• Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
