Senior Tax Analyst – Regional Tax Advisor

About the role

The Senior Tax Analyst will support the SOL Group tax function across multiple jurisdictions, providing expertise in corporate and indirect tax compliance, research, and strategic analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review local income tax returns for corporations and indirect taxes in several jurisdictions.
• Calculate and document quarterly and annual tax provisions, analyzing tax accounts and reserves.
• Research complex tax issues, interpret laws and regulations, and apply findings to transactions.
• Assist with tax audits by gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, manage registrations and filings, and analyze tax impacts of business decisions.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CGA, ACCA, CPA, CA) and a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 4 years of tax or accounting experience, preferably with Latin American/Caribbean matters.
• Strong command of written and oral English and Spanish; French or Dutch is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively in remote teams, and meet filing deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with data tools such as Alteryx or Power BI.
• Tax software expertise (Onesource, Vertex).
• Familiarity with major accounting systems (SAP, GP).
