Financial Leader

About the role

OPTIMIZATE is looking for a Financial Leader to support its entrepreneurs by analysing their financial data, identifying risks and opportunities, and turning insights into practical action plans that improve business health.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, cash flow, margins, expenses, debt, inventory and other key indicators.
• Identify financial problems, risks and growth opportunities.
• Prepare clear, actionable financial diagnoses and 30‑day action plans.
• Respond to queries and participate in financial sessions with business owners.
• Provide support to OPTIMIZATE’s programmes and escalate complex cases to senior finance specialists.
• Create tools, templates and processes to standardise financial analysis.
• Document and develop OPTIMIZATE’s Financial Methodology.
• Assist in building and leading a future team of financial analysts or consultants.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Administration, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial management, FP&A, controlling, consulting or financial analysis.
• Experience with SMEs is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, cost structures, profitability, break‑even analysis and working capital.
• Understanding of accounts receivable/payable, inventory, debt and financial ratios.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
• Analytical thinking, autonomy, organisational skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and consulting skills.
