Especialista Fiscal y Contable

About the role

We are looking for a Fiscal and Accounting Assistant to support the Tax Manager in preparing tax forms and declarations for our national clients. The position is full‑time, onsite in Santo Domingo, and offers the chance to develop a career in tax and accounting within a reputable family‑owned consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax forms (e.g., 606, 607) and declarations (IT‑1, IR‑2, etc.) under the supervision of the Tax Manager.
• Assist with bookkeeping entries and payroll preparation for key accounts.
• Review accounting documentation and gather required paperwork for submissions to the DGII.
• Collaborate with other internal teams to integrate accounting, financial, and legal information.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of tax matters; prior experience with tax forms or declarations is a plus.
• At least one year of experience in taxes, accounting, compliance, audit, risk management or a related area.
• Strong analytical and planning abilities, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Advanced use of spreadsheets and the Microsoft Office suite.
