EDI & Order Management Specialist

About the role

An EDI and Order Management Specialist is sought to oversee electronic order processing, fulfillment workflows and trading partner connections. The role covers purchase orders, order exceptions and coordination between retail buyers, the 3PL warehouse and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and process EDI purchase orders, order changes, hold releases, quantity updates and ship dates.
• Coordinate order flow to 3PL partners, manage retail shipment notices (ASNs), generate invoices and handle order rejections.
• Monitor EDI transaction health, resolve processing failures and manage SPS Commerce support tickets.
• Serve as main point of contact for retail buyers on order status, shipping updates and initial claims or damage reports.
• Support technical setup, testing and go-live for new retail partners or operational transitions such as warehouse moves.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite integrated with the SPS Commerce Suite (item cross-references, order exception screens, compliance labels, ASNs).
• Strong understanding of standard X12 transactions, especially 850, 855, 856, 810, 860 and 940.
• Excellent written English for professional correspondence with retail buyers.
