Business Unit Coordinator

About the role

Jabil is looking for a Business Unit Coordinator in San Cristobal. The role helps turn business strategy into work programs and processes for an assigned customer account, works independently on complex assignments with minimal supervision, and provides guidance to lower-level positions. It is a stepping-stone position aimed at qualifying for a Business Unit Manager role within 2-3 years.

Key responsibilities

• Manage part of the customer relationship (new product introductions, product lines, transfers between sites, materials management) through direct customer interaction.
• Prepare materials for Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and commercial claims such as excess and obsolete materials.
• Contribute to the forecast and variance process in the company's financial system.
• Support the Business Unit Managers' day-to-day needs, workcell management, Quarterly Business Reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide indirect leadership to junior team members such as Customer Service Administrators.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Finance/Accounting or Business Management preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of work-related experience, preferably in Financial or Manufacturing Operations.
• Potential for leadership growth and willingness to start an MBA or equivalent program within 2-3 years.
• Proven track record of change management, continuous productivity and cost-reduction programs.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and international direct and indirect taxes and customs regimes.
• Financial and analytical ability, including business analytics and project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
