DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on Azure‑based and on‑premise projects. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters on Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Design, build, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including networking, storage, and security.
• Support on‑premise data‑center operations, virtualization (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V) and automation.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code with Ansible and Terraform.
• Monitor, log, and alert using Zabbix, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
• Handle database administration (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) and distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Integrate security hardening, SIEM (Wazuh) and vulnerability scanning (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster recovery and automated backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record of managing both cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams on large, complex systems.
