Clinical Application Specialist

About the role

The Clinical Application Specialist provides clinical support throughout the sales cycle and after implementation, working closely with sales, marketing and channel teams. The role focuses on delivering technical assistance, training, and clinical validation for ultrasound and related medical technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales clinical support for key accounts, large projects and important cases.
• Deliver post‑sales support including customer visits, demos, advanced‑feature training and application guidance.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure clinical outputs such as research, product feedback and validation studies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs, reference sites and key opinion leaders in the region.
• Create and deliver KOL lectures, soft papers, case studies, posters, academic papers and marketing images.
• Design specialized training programs, training materials and a distributor Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) training system, collecting insights from clinical scenarios.
• Empower channel clinical teams, improve their professional capabilities and support channel clinical certification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a medical discipline, biomedical engineering or technical radiology.
• Minimum three years of experience as a clinical application specialist in a medical equipment company or hospital, preferably with ultrasound technology.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
