Bilingual Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

Airlink is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead product quality across all production stages in its electronics refurbishment operation. The role owns incoming, in-process and final inspection, NPI quality and quality performance metrics, keeping the operation compliant with ISO 9001 and R2. It reports to the Director of Quality & Integrated Management Systems and leads a team of engineers, a QA supervisor and quality inspectors.

Key responsibilities

• Own incoming, in-process and final inspection, NPI quality, AQL sampling plans, quality metrics and KPIs (yield, DPM)
• Lead and develop the QA operations team and report quality performance to the Director
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production on NPI and improvement initiatives
• Decide independently on inspection standards, staffing and AQL plans, disposition of nonconforming lots and reassignment of QA resources
• Partner with the Director on NPI production go/no-go decisions, customer acceptance criteria changes and team structure changes
• Escalate yield or DPM breaches, critical defects reaching customers and at-risk NPI launches with action plans and assessments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic or Quality) or a related field
• 5-7 years in quality within electronics manufacturing or refurbishment, including team leadership
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (required)
• On-site work on the production floor and in the office, with PPE required on the floor
