About the role
A healthcare facility in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional is hiring a full-time Bilingual Patient Care Representative for an onsite position. You will be the first point of contact between patients and the healthcare team, helping them with appointments, follow-ups and inquiries with empathy, professionalism and confidentiality.
Key responsibilities
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling and follow-ups
- Provide accurate non-clinical information on services, availability and procedures
- Assist patients in English and Spanish with clarity and empathy
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA and company protocols)
- Document interactions and escalate issues as needed
Required profile
- High school diploma or ongoing university studies
- Fluent or advanced English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
