Bilingual Healthcare Support Specialist (Call Center)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Healthcare Support Specialist to serve as the first point of contact between patients and our healthcare team. Working in a call‑center environment in Santo Domingo, you will use your healthcare knowledge and strong English communication skills to deliver high‑quality assistance to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Provide accurate information about medical services, appointments, and procedures.
• Document interactions and update patient records while maintaining confidentiality.
• Escalate complex cases to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Follow established call‑center scripts and quality standards.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in English (bilingual preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive patient information.
• Customer‑service mindset with a willingness to help patients.
• Previous experience in healthcare, patient care, BPO or call‑center environments is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficient use of computers and standard office software.
