About the role

The Accounting Assistant will support the finance department by handling accounts‑payable processes, recording purchases, and performing various administrative accounting tasks. The role requires an organized and analytical individual who can ensure accurate financial records and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Register and monitor accounts payable entries.
• Enter purchase orders and invoices into the accounting system.
• Verify and validate supporting documentation for received invoices.
• Assist in scheduling and controlling supplier payments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date ledger and auxiliary records.
• Support account reconciliations for accounts payable.
• Record transactions and documents in SAP Business One.
• Organize and file accounting documents.
• Prepare basic accounts‑payable reports when requested.
• Provide assistance to the Accounting Manager as needed.

Required profile

• Final‑year accounting student or recent graduate.
• 1–3 years of experience in similar accounting roles, specifically in accounts payable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP Business One.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
