Auditor Senior de Inventario

About the role

The Senior Inventory Auditor will plan and execute inventory audits across the organization’s branches, ensuring policies, procedures, and controls are properly applied. The role focuses on verifying physical stock, identifying discrepancies, and driving continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct periodic inventory audits at all company locations.
• Verify physical existence, accuracy, location, and condition of products and reconcile with system records.
• Audit related processes such as receiving, storage, dispatch, transfers, returns, adjustments, and inventory movements.
• Assess compliance with internal policies and controls, document findings, and analyze root causes.
• Prepare audit reports with evidence, conclusions, and improvement recommendations.
• Follow up on findings, ensure corrective action plans are implemented and effective.
• Monitor process execution for consistency, efficiency, and standardization across branches.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce losses, and strengthen internal controls.
• Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and analyze inventory‑related indicators.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Operations, Finance, Purchasing, and Administration teams to resolve deviations.
• Maintain regular communication with branch managers and perform frequent site visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Preferred certifications in Auditing, Internal Control, Inventory Management or Process Management.
• 3–5 years of experience in audit, inventory control, internal control or related processes.
• Proven experience auditing multiple branches or operational centers.
• Experience preparing and tracking audit findings and action plans.
• Strong analytical skills in inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.
