About the role

The Sales Agent will act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, promoting insurance products and guiding customers through the selection process. This position is essential for expanding the agency’s client portfolio and delivering tailored coverage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers to present suitable insurance options.
• Conduct interviews to understand client needs and recommend appropriate policies.
• Explain coverage details, benefits, and policy terms clearly.
• Negotiate terms, close sales, and process required documentation for policy issuance.
• Maintain regular follow‑up to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues.
• Offer additional services such as renewals, policy updates, and cross‑selling of related products.
• Keep the client database up‑to‑date and record all interactions and sales progress.
• Achieve and exceed the sales targets set by the agency.
• Stay informed about new insurance products, regulatory changes, and market trends through ongoing training.
