About the role

The company Atlántica Seguros is looking for a Commercial Insurance Agent based in Santo Domingo. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, advising them on vehicle insurance products, and achieving defined sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new customers for insurance products.
• Assist interested clients, prepare and present quotations.
• Explain coverage, benefits, exclusions, and policy conditions.
• Follow up on pending quotations and manage the sales closing process.
• Achieve monthly production and premium targets.
• Coordinate with underwriting, customer service, inspection, and other departments to complete policy issuance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client and prospect information in company systems.
• Handle renewals, retain existing customers, and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Report daily activities and progress toward objectives.

Required profile

• High school diploma completed.
• Currently studying or graduated in Marketing, Administration, Business or related fields (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sales, customer service or commercial roles.
• Experience in insurance, vehicle sales, banking or financial services is a plus.
• Proven ability to work with sales targets.
