Senior Accounts Receivable & Revenue Operations Specialist

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a senior professional to own the full revenue cycle for a fast‑growing roofing and construction business. You will act as the financial hub, ensuring invoices, collections and reporting flow smoothly from estimate to cash.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end revenue operations, including project‑based invoicing, progress billings, receivable tracking and timely collections across multiple job sites.
• Validate invoice accuracy against contracts, insurance estimates and supplemental approvals; resolve any discrepancies with project managers, sales reps or insurance adjusters.
• Field questions from homeowners, commercial clients and insurance carriers, taking ownership of collections and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to produce accurate revenue reports, track job costing and review project‑level financial summaries.
• Optimize and automate key systems such as QuickBooks Online and field‑service platforms (e.g., JobNimbus) to improve roofing workflow efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with clients, insurers and subcontractors regarding billing status, invoices and supplement documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience in U.S. companies, with a focus on accounts receivable and revenue operations; construction or field‑service background is a strong plus.
• Proven track record managing the full billing cycle in project‑based or job‑costed environments (estimate‑to‑cash).
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and familiarity with roofing platforms such as JobNimbus, AccuLynx or CompanyCam.
• Experience handling insurance billing, estimates and supplement processes; knowledge of Xactimate is advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and confident communication with customers, insurers and project managers.
• Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and automation in a fast‑growing trade business.
• Professional fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
