Junior IT Service Desk Engineer

About the role

GBH is looking for a Junior IT Service Desk Engineer to provide technical assistance and ensure the integrity of information associated with assigned cases. You will work autonomously on support tickets, network issues, and project tasks while collaborating with a diverse team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide user support for hardware and software failures.
• Assist with installation of physical peripherals and software applications.
• Install or reinstall operating systems and user programs.
• Perform preventive physical maintenance on user equipment.
• Support monitoring of client equipment via administration platforms.
• Collect equipment information on‑site and suggest improvements.
• Generate physical reports for on‑site assistance cases.
• Create, document, and close tickets while maintaining SLA targets.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good task‑management and multitasking capabilities.
• Advanced English proficiency (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of basic network configuration on user devices.
• Familiarity with equipment monitoring and ticketing platforms.
• Self‑motivated, high work ethic, and able to handle multiple cases.
• Graduate or senior student in IT, Network Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing technical assistance.
