Software & Product Engineer (Vue/React, PHP, Laravel, Node.js, AWS)

About the role

Thryv is seeking a Software & Product Engineer to design, develop, and optimize high‑performance applications. The role involves collaborating with product managers and designers to deliver scalable, customer‑focused solutions using modern web technologies and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and define software and product requirements, shaping specifications and standards.
• Code, debug, test, and troubleshoot throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Develop capabilities that integrate with design systems, infrastructure, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Architect database solutions ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.
• Maintain and evolve component‑driven front‑end architecture using Vue.js or React.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of software or product engineering experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments and fast‑growing or entrepreneurial companies.
• Demonstrated contributions to open‑source or personal projects (GitHub/Stack Overflow profile).
• Fluent in English; bilingual communication in Spanish required.
