Senior Forward Deployed Engineer – FinTech

About the role

Truelogic is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to help a leading home‑equity platform build a new capability for automating complex product and operational workflows. The role sits within the DevOps team but works horizontally across the organization, partnering with Process Improvement, Product, IT, Security and other functions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Process Improvement, Product, DevOps, IT, Security and other business units to identify workflow and process problems.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical approaches.
• Map existing workflows, including systems, stakeholders, handoffs, dependencies and bottlenecks.
• Identify automation opportunities and determine suitability for technical intervention.
• Design, prototype, build and productionize automation solutions.
• Integrate solutions with internal systems, APIs, infrastructure and product workflows as required.
• Communicate technical trade‑offs and proposed solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Own the end‑to‑end implementation, from discovery through production, without relying on predefined engineering tickets.
• Participate in DevOps ceremonies while maintaining close collaboration with Process Improvement and Product stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering automation solutions in a DevOps or similar environment.
• Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems, from discovery to production.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Senior‑level expertise with a track record of driving process improvement initiatives.
