Project Supervisor – Architects & Engineers (Temporary)

About the role

The incumbent will lead the development and construction of assigned projects such as meetinghouses, seminaries, institutes, welfare projects and larger R&I initiatives. This temporary position requires overseeing all phases from planning through delivery while meeting cost, quality and schedule objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage service providers—including architects, consultants and contractors—to achieve performance standards.
• Analyze project data continuously to improve cost, quality and timeliness.
• Support Operations and Maintenance functions by providing expertise as needed.
• Secure real‑estate acquisitions promptly to protect construction budgets and schedules.
• Provide project‑management assistance to stake presidents and resolve issues within policy.
• Share knowledge with peers and contribute to professional development.
• Participate in training to enhance personal competence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in construction management, engineering or architecture.
• 3–5 years of construction‑field experience (project management, superintendent or owner‑operator role).
• Proven leadership, business, management and negotiation abilities.
• Strong communication skills with ecclesiastical leaders, real‑estate agents, architects, engineers, contractors, city officials and community groups.
• Basic estimating, scheduling and analytical capabilities.
• Public‑relations aptitude and ability to manage multiple projects and people.
• Competence with computer tools for cost control and scheduling; professional certification preferred.
