Full Stack Developer

About the role

Flatiron is seeking a full‑time, fully remote Full Stack Developer to join a Scrum team. You will collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and contributors across US time zones to deliver high‑performance applications for clients in the US and UK.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable full‑stack solutions with a focus on backend architecture.
• Develop robust APIs and services using Python or Node.js (Express, NestJS).
• Contribute to frontend features using React, Next.js, and modern TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Debug, optimise, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and data workflows.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
• Document development phases, monitor performance, and improve reliability.
• Participate in daily Scrum meetings and influence product and technical decisions.

Required profile

• Higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced written and oral English proficiency.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience with strong backend expertise.
• Interest in applied AI and automation‑driven development.
