Verification Specialist – Timekeeping & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Verification Specialist to ensure our Community Based Support (CBS) services are accurately logged, fully compliant with state regulations, and ready for billing. You will transform raw phone‑system data into structured timesheets, audit them against complex guidelines, and coordinate with the billing team.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed timesheets from call logs, automated check‑in/out data, and session details captured by our phone system.
• Audit each timesheet against state standards, program guidelines, service codes, dates, locations, and session lengths.
• Notify the Billing Department when timesheets are ready for processing or when non‑compliant entries require holds.
• Collaborate with program supervisors and field staff to resolve missing, conflicting, or non‑compliant session logs.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in timekeeping, compliance auditing, billing support, or related administrative roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex regulatory standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear coordination with billing and program teams.
• Familiarity with state healthcare regulations, Medicaid guidelines, and HIPAA is a plus.
