About the role

We are looking for an energetic Sales Associate specialized in flooring and coverings to join our retail team at Floor Factory RD in Santo Domingo. The role involves engaging new construction‑sector customers, guiding them through product choices and closing sales that meet their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with walk‑in and inbound customers, providing expert advice on flooring and covering solutions.
• Identify and acquire new clients within the construction sector.
• Negotiate terms, close sales and ensure a smooth purchasing process.
• Maintain follow‑up with existing customers to foster repeat business.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to store performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling to new customers in the construction or building materials industry.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Professional appearance and customer‑focused attitude.
• Result‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
• Desire for professional growth within a retail environment.

What we offer

• Base salary of RD$27,468 per month.
• Monthly commissions ranging from RD$9,000 to RD$60,000.
• Performance bonus paid semi‑annually.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm, Saturdays 9 am‑2 pm.
