Travel Industry Sales Manager

About the role

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia is seeking a Travel Industry Sales Manager to join the pre‑opening team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will lead sales efforts across travel‑industry accounts, build strategic partnerships and drive profitable business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for assigned travel‑industry accounts, segments and territories.
• Prospect, solicit and secure business from luxury travel advisors, agencies, consortia, wholesalers and tour operators.
• Manage the full account‑development cycle, including qualification, rate negotiation, contracting, activation and production analysis.
• Conduct sales calls, destination presentations, site inspections, familiarisation trips, trade shows and client events.
• Partner with Revenue Management and Commercial leadership on pricing, segmentation, promotions and revenue‑generating opportunities.

Required profile

• College degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Tourism or related field.
• 3‑5 years of luxury hotel sales, travel‑industry sales or hotel‑operations experience with a proven record of achieving commercial goals.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to travel and work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Opera, Delphi or comparable hotel sales and CRM systems.
