Travel Consultant

About the role

People First BPO, a business process outsourcing company based in the Dominican Republic, is hiring a full-time, on-site Travel Consultant in Santiago de los Caballeros. The consultant advises customers on travel options, creates customized itineraries and coordinates flights, hotels and ground transportation, handling reservations and booking changes while responding to inquiries and resolving issues professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on travel options and create customized itineraries.
• Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, hotels and ground transportation.
• Handle reservations and booking changes, and respond to customer inquiries.
• Manage travel requests by phone, email and digital platforms, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel policies, promotions and destination information.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service aligned with client expectations.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Santiago de los Caballeros, manage multiple tasks and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a travel agency, BPO or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, adaptability to changing travel conditions and a customer-centric mindset.
