Tooling Attendant III

About the role

The Tooling Attendant III is responsible for maintaining the organization’s facilities, equipment, and grounds. This role ensures that all building systems operate safely and efficiently while supporting renovation projects and waste‑reduction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate repairs, renovations, and safety inspections.
• Plan budgets, estimate costs for equipment, labor, and materials, and manage project timelines.
• Negotiate with external vendors and contractors for supplies, repairs, and capital purchases.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, carpentry, and masonry services, including installation, cleaning, and repair of components.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Perform hands‑on electrical, painting, carpentry, and equipment repair tasks.
• Maintain all tools and equipment required for facility upkeep.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools gained through work experience or vocational/technical education.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision with routine problem‑solving.
• Effective communication skills for explaining technical information.
