About the role
Arjo is hiring a temporary sewing mechanic for a 6-month assignment in Bajos de Haina, San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic. The position is on shift A (7:00 am to 4:00 pm) and is open to candidates who can start immediately.
Key responsibilities
- Program pattern tacker machines
- Create sewing folders
- Make metal sewing machine parts
- Handle computers
Required profile
- Certificate in mechanics or completion of a needle-mechanics course, or another recognized technical school course
- 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred; related experience of 6 months to 1 year also preferred
- Ability to solve problems, strong verbal and written communication, sense of urgency and teamwork
- Availability for overtime and availability to live and work in Bajos de Haina, San Cristóbal
