Temporary Doctor (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a Temporary Doctor to cover maternity leave for our Latin America team in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic. The role focuses on overseeing employee health, conducting medical examinations, and providing preventive care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform medical reviews of employees according to the medical manual, including personal questioning and clinical history assessment.
• Maintain a healthy doctor‑patient relationship and monitor pregnant employees, hypertensive patients, and others requiring periodic check‑ups.
• Detect and treat any pathologies or viral infections, and report administered medications weekly.
• Conduct health education talks and monthly inspections of the first‑aid kit.
• Request and coordinate medication supplies with HR and the purchasing department.
• Prepare reports on pregnant employees (ultrasounds, blood pressure, weight, lab results) and incident reports with the security department.
• Support workplace cleanliness following 5S methodology and perform any related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Graduated as a General Medical Doctor with a current Exequatur.
• Previous experience in occupational health or related medical field.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
