About the role

The First Line Technician provides on‑site and remote assistance to external customers, resolving hardware and software incidents, performing maintenance, repairs, and configuring operating systems and applications. This role supports the IT infrastructure of Diebold Nixdorf and ensures timely service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist assigned customers within agreed timeframes and close service tickets online.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including repairs and configuration.
• Install and configure operating systems and related applications.
• Complete service orders accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize company‑provided tools and applications effectively.
• Complete mandatory training courses before scheduled deadlines.

Required profile

• Team‑oriented with strong customer‑service mindset.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Sense of urgency and professional presence.
• Currently studying Computer Science or a related field.
