Talent Acquisition Team Lead (Remote)

About the role

World Business Lenders offers short-term commercial loans secured by real estate to small and medium-sized businesses in the United States. It is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Team Lead to run the company's recruitment function remotely, working 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday to Friday. The role covers strategy, operations, recruiter coaching and hiring delivery, and requires excellent spoken and written English.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Talent Acquisition team, aligning recruitment with business hiring objectives
• Manage, coach and develop recruiters, setting priorities, expectations and measurable goals
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract talent across departments and levels
• Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to define hiring priorities and recruitment plans
• Oversee the end-to-end process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluation, offer coordination and hiring
• Monitor recruiter productivity, hiring timelines, pipeline activity and other TA metrics
• Maintain candidate evaluation standards and a strong candidate experience
• Improve sourcing strategies, workflows and hiring processes
• Use Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment tools accurately, and report on pipelines and hiring to leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Management or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 8+ years in Talent Acquisition or full-cycle recruitment
• 4+ years in a team lead, supervisory or managerial role overseeing recruitment teams
• Experience managing recruiters and partnering with senior leadership on recruitment strategy
• Experience with high-volume, time-sensitive recruitment and remote recruitment teams preferred
• Recruiting for international or geographically distributed teams is an advantage
