System Administrator

About the role

The company is looking for an experienced System Administrator to manage and optimise its application and database infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance across a diverse set of platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor systems using tools such as Ansible, Nagios, and Splunk.
• Maintain disaster‑recovery sites and enforce service‑level agreements.
• Perform capacity planning, patch management, backups, and reporting.
• Deploy and manage containers in Kubernetes, ensuring a resilient architecture.
• Implement infrastructure as code and handle Linux system configuration.
• Administer MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle databases.
• Support RHEL, Windows Server/Client environments, SAN, networking, and virtualization (VMware).
• Manage LDAP, user access, and follow ITIL best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, System Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on system administration experience in a production or data‑center environment.
• Proven experience with service provision, high‑availability design, and security.
• Red Hat certification strongly preferred.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
