About the role

The Deputy Manager of Regulatory Norms and Advisory supports the entity and its subsidiary in mitigating compliance risk. The role involves identifying compliance obligations, monitoring mitigating controls, and ensuring that regulatory requirements are communicated, addressed and implemented by responsible areas.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor supervisory authority websites daily and inform the Regulatory Compliance Management of new applicable regulations.
• Assist the Regulatory and Corporate Criminal Compliance Management in analysing the impact of new regulations on the entity and its subsidiary and communicate findings to responsible areas.
• Support the analysis of draft regulations under public consultation and relay observations to relevant departments.
• Track implementation of controls that guarantee compliance with new regulations for both the entity and its subsidiary.
• Coordinate sessions with responsible areas to ensure proper implementation of regulatory provisions.
• Review deliverables from responsible areas to verify conformity with supervisory requirements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date registers of applicable compliance obligations and regulatory reporting aspects.
• Assist in preparing and sending queries to supervisory bodies and keep statistics of such interactions.
• Provide support for internal induction and training programmes on regulatory compliance and compliance risk management.
• Participate in the review, creation or amendment of internal documents in response to regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Experience in regulatory compliance, risk mitigation or related legal functions.
• Strong analytical skills to assess regulatory impact.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal areas and supervisory authorities.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Proactive attitude in coordinating cross‑functional activities.
