Subgerente de Tienda – Operaciones Retail

About the role

The Subgerente de Tienda will lead daily operations of the assigned supermarket, ensuring inventory control, cash handling, maintenance, cleaning, security, marketing and customer service align with company policies and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and supervise operational processes to guarantee continuity and efficiency.
• Ensure high‑quality service and proper customer attention in the store.
• Oversee cyclic inventory management, adjustments, merchandise receipt and stock levels.
• Maintain order and proper organization of the warehouse.
• Conduct store opening and closing while following established procedures.
• Coordinate and monitor activities related to cash registers, maintenance, cleaning, security and marketing.
• Lead operational teams, promoting achievement of objectives and service standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions within retail or mass‑consumption companies.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
• Availability to work rotating schedules (opening and closing shifts).
• Leadership, results orientation, customer‑service focus and ability to work under pressure.
