Social Media & Content Marketing Assistant (Remote, Part-Time)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing pediatric neurotechnology company, is looking for a creative Social Media & Content Marketing Assistant to help expand its online presence. The role is remote and part‑time (20 hours/week), focusing on translating complex neuroscience into engaging, empathetic content for parents, caregivers, and clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and edit short‑form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn using tools such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe Premiere.
• Translate scientific topics (EEG, neurofeedback, ADHD, autism) into clear, digestible social posts and videos.
• Repurpose longer assets—articles, interviews, research papers—into multi‑platform content.
• Schedule, publish and manage posts across all social channels while engaging with comments and relevant communities.
• Monitor trends, execute the established content strategy and track basic engagement metrics.
• Maintain consistent brand voice, message and visual identity.

Required profile

• Strong short‑form video expertise with an understanding of story structure, pacing and hooks.
• Self‑starter who can own projects without micro‑guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to simplify complex health information.
• Interest or background in neuroscience, mental health, parenting or science communication (preferred).
