Senior Google Ads Manager (Ecommerce)

About the role

Whiskey Library is seeking a commercially‑minded marketer with deep Google Ads expertise to grow its Bourbon Mystery Box subscription and online bottle shop. You will craft messaging, write ad copy and run experiments that drive customer acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Research customer reviews, search queries and competitor offers to develop persuasive messaging and ad copy, and collaborate on creative and landing‑page concepts.
• Design and manage a prioritized testing plan, formulate hypotheses, run A/B tests, analyse results and iterate on experiments.
• Execute Google Ads strategy across Search, Shopping, Performance Max and other formats, handling campaign structure, bidding and budget management.
• Maintain conversion tracking, Merchant Center and product feeds, coordinating fixes with the team.
• Monitor acquisition cost, order value, gross profit and customer lifetime value, separating branded, non‑branded, subscription and retail performance.
• Share insights with the wider marketing team, turn feedback into new tests and make routine account decisions independently.

Required profile

• Strong marketing judgment and copywriting ability, linking customer insight to brand‑aligned messaging.
• Demonstrated curiosity through investigative work, challenging assumptions and adapting based on evidence.
• Proven repeatable testing methodology with clear hypothesis, execution and analysis.
• Track record of ecommerce Google Ads execution, including Merchant Center, product feeds, conversion tracking and attribution.
• Commercial sense for profitable growth, backed by concrete results.
• Excellent written English, independent follow‑through and collaborative mindset.
