Senior Product Development Engineer

About the role

Integer seeks a Senior Engineer to lead product development and design initiatives across its medical device and high‑end battery divisions. The role focuses on delivering innovative solutions that meet internal and external customer expectations while adhering to rigorous quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex product challenges and advance technological capabilities.
• Develop and implement new technologies, equipment, and processes of significant scope and cost.
• Generate technical documentation such as protocols, reports, specifications, and work‑instructions.
• Lead cross‑functional projects, manage moderate resources, and influence outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor up to five technicians or associate engineers.
• Investigate industry trends and recommend best practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in product development or design engineering, preferably in medical devices or specialized battery applications.
• Strong understanding of quality, safety, environmental, and security management systems.
• Familiarity with U.S. FDA regulations and related compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and mentor junior staff.
