Sales and Commercialization Manager – Central America & Caribbean

About the role

The Sales and Commercialization Manager for the Central America (CAM) and Caribbean (CAB) region will lead Mastercard’s go‑to‑market strategy for SME products. Reporting to regional leadership, the role focuses on driving sales volume, expanding product issuance, and strengthening Mastercard’s presence among micro, small and medium enterprises across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the sales strategy for the SME segment, targeting defined growth objectives.
• Implement go‑to‑market plans for SME solutions, collaborating with sales teams and new distribution channels.
• Manage a strategic portfolio that represents 80% of the annual target, allocating resources to key accounts.
• Build and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline using Salesforce (SFDC) and cluster reporting tools.
• Participate in negotiations, support clients, and drive commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales initiatives in the financial services or payments sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale client portfolios and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on SME market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
