Ruby on Rails Developer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote developers, is hiring a Ruby on Rails Senior Developer. The role is fully remote, and the candidate is expected to combine experience, knowledge and independence to solve complex technical problems across web applications, mobile devices and current technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop modern web applications for mobile and desktop devices, with attention to responsive design and different screen sizes.
• Carry out all phases of the systems engineering process, independently planning, processing and performing the work.
• Maintain consistency throughout the product and document code consistently during development.
• Provide technical documentation for design, implementation and testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails.
• 5+ years of front-end development with strong JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 skills.
• 1+ year developing web applications with ReactJS, Flux, Redux, Relay or similar frameworks.
• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Backbone and Marionette.
• Advanced English level.
