Remote ETL/Data Engineer

About the role

INDI is looking for a skilled ETL/Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that turn raw data into actionable insights. This fully remote position offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge technologies and collaborate with a global team of recruiters and business analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data processing systems.
• Build and optimise data architectures for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimise data storage and retrieval for performance and cost‑effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex pipeline issues while maintaining system stability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in ETL development or data engineering.
• Strong command of SQL and Python, with experience in data‑processing frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based data platforms and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of data modelling, performance optimisation, and version‑control systems.
• Experience with pipeline orchestration tools and data‑quality assurance practices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
