Remote DevOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote professionals, is hiring a DevOps Engineer. The role covers designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure with Terraform, managing Kubernetes clusters, automating configuration and building CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including reusable modules
• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters, both managed (EKS) and self-hosted
• Automate configuration management with Ansible
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket Pipelines and manage Git repositories
• Integrate Jira and Confluence into DevOps processes and support GitOps workflows
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, and collaborate with development teams to enable secure, automated delivery
• Ensure performance, availability and scalability, and continuously improve automation and internal processes

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or similar roles
• 3-4 years of advanced Terraform experience, including reusable modules, versioning and naming conventions
• 3-4 years of strong AWS experience (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, EKS)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Bitbucket) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking and security fundamentals
• Advanced English; proactive, autonomous and good communicator

Nice to have

• AWS certifications such as DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect
• GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux, Helm) and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki)
• 3-4 years of Kubernetes experience and Ansible
