React Senior Tech Lead - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consultancy with more than 15 years of experience and a remote-first team of 4,000+ engineers, is looking for a React Senior Tech Lead. The role involves overseeing and leading a team of developers, defining and implementing advanced technology strategies, driving innovation and setting high technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the technical aspects of projects, guide team members in problem-solving and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Design robust and scalable application architectures using React and related technologies, aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Maintain high code quality standards, review and approve pull requests and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Work closely with product managers, designers and backend teams to integrate frontend and backend functionality.
• Stay up to date with React trends and tools, and monitor and optimise web application performance.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience with React.
• Proven track record developing and integrating large-scale applications, with expertise in both back-end and front-end development.
• Demonstrated leadership in team management, task allocation, risk identification, decision-making, task estimation, conflict resolution and project planning.
• Strong experience leading client and stakeholder meetings and communicating technical concepts.
• Advanced level of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of design patterns and strong experience in application security best practices.
• Skilled in code reviews and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced IT infrastructure knowledge and advanced knowledge of technology trade-offs.
