Python AI Engineer – Remote

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Python AI Engineer to enhance an enterprise AI assistant used by thousands of employees. The role involves extending a production system, ensuring robust evaluation, and occasionally contributing to the front‑end.

Key responsibilities

• Develop agent and retrieval capabilities for a production AI assistant.
• Design LangGraph flows and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines over structured and unstructured data.
• Maintain evaluation coverage for AI behavior you ship.
• Extend the existing Next.js front end when feature requirements demand it.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Python experience (8+ years for lead‑level responsibilities).
• Proven track record delivering LLM systems in production.
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain or LangGraph.
• Availability to work PST hours and advanced English proficiency.
