About the role

Alstom is looking for a Power Supply Installation & Design Engineer to be based in Santiago de los Caballeros. The engineer will act as the local technical hub, ensuring that power‑supply installations meet quality, compliance and contractual standards while supporting field teams during installation and testing.

Key responsibilities

Guarantee the quality, completeness and technical compliance of all installation deliverables.
Support installation, testing & commissioning activities and resolve field issues promptly.
Coordinate technical interfaces between site teams and the Mexico Power Supply Design Organization.
Assist the Power Supply design engineering team in system and infrastructure development, promoting continuous improvement.
Lead peer‑review processes, 8D/QRQC problem‑solving, and regional competency development for power‑supply scope.

Required skills

Power supply design and installation expertise.
Electrical dimensioning and automation knowledge.
Quality management methods such as DFQ, 8D and QRQC.
Experience supporting supplier quality control during project execution.
