Penetration Testing Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Penetration Testing Engineer to strengthen the security of our products and services by actively testing them. You will work on a variety of targets, from mobile and web applications to cloud services and embedded devices, helping to uncover and remediate critical vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive penetration tests on mobile apps, web applications, APIs, cloud services, networks, and systems.
• Contribute to security assessments of embedded systems and connected devices, including firmware, update mechanisms, and device‑to‑cloud communication.
• Own complex security projects, delivering high‑quality results on schedule.
• Utilize advanced tools and methodologies for vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• Document findings with detailed reports, reproducible evidence, and actionable remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure security objectives are met.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Dedicate time each week to skill development and pursue industry certifications, fully funded by the employer.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus on penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Practical knowledge of testing techniques for at least one of the following: web applications, APIs, mobile applications, cloud services, networks, or systems.
• Ability to analyze complex security problems, understand real‑world impact, and propose effective solutions.
