Manager Payments Value Proposition

About the role

Scotiabank is seeking a Manager Payments Value Proposition to strengthen and standardise our card‑payment offering across markets. The role will ensure that product initiatives align with regulatory requirements, internal policies and the bank’s risk culture while driving growth for the Issuing Area.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a customer‑centric culture and deepen relationships with local segment leaders.
• Act as the liaison between local market needs and the Payments team to continuously improve credit and debit card offerings.
• Lead the local standardisation of card products based on regional guidelines and coordinate necessary market adaptations.
• Develop strategies with Digital Products and Solutions to accelerate migration of card services to digital wallets, mobile apps and online platforms.
• Ensure operational effectiveness, compliance with AML/ATF, regulatory and conduct standards, and uphold Scotiabank’s values and code of conduct.
• Foster a high‑performance, inclusive work environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in payments, specifically credit and debit cards.
• Strong understanding of product features, pricing, profitability drivers (P&L) and the payments ecosystem.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in collaborative settings.
• Excellent presentation, writing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet objectives.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
